Coordination in Situated MAS: Engineering Environment in TuCSoN

Engineering MAS environment requires specific abstractions, in particular to handle agent situatedness. By interpreting situatedness as an interaction issue, coordination artefacts are the most suitable abstraction for engineering agent-environment interaction. In this paper, we describe the TuCSoN coordination architecture for situated MAS, and show how the corresponding TuCSoN coordination technology can be effectively used for engineering MAS environment.
